Rotary Cutter Bevel Gearbox Features:

  • Standard and various ratios 1:1/1:1.21/1:1.46/1:1.93, all are exact ratios.
  • When the ratio is not 1:1, and the pinion shaft is input, so the cross shaft is reduced output. When the cross shaft is input, the pinion shaft is increased output.
  • The spiral bevel gear has stable transmission, low noise level, slight vibration, and strong loading capacity.
  • A double-input shaft is available.
  • Multiple output shaft is available.
  • Any mounting position is available.

Advantages Of Spiral Bevel Gearbox:

Noise: The spur teeth of the gears hit each other simultaneously as they rotate, producing a rattling sound that can be heard at medium to high speeds. The spiral teeth gradually engage as they rotate, making the operation quieter.

Impact load: Two straight teeth collide quickly while rotating, increasing the chance of impact load, which can lead to premature replacement and excessive wear.

Vibration: Spiral teeth are more efficient because they produce less vibration and are quieter and smoother for operation.

Durability and toughness: Straight teeth are more likely to break because they require more initial and sustained force. Due to the inherent strength of their curved shape and the fact that several teeth are constantly in contact with each other, constant wear and tear can be minimized.
